This five-week sprint covered the definition, design and execution of seven griddle tools, built to expand upon the Solo Griddle designed at Smart. This holistic project touched upon user experience, ergonomics, mechanics, materials, CMF and branding elements across each individual tool. Resulting deliverable encompassed factory ready design CAD, 3D printed models, CMF documentation and visual assets for marketing purposes.

DESIGNING A FAMILY OF PRODUCTS
Establishing core product principles to the Solo Brand created a strong foundation to apply across the wide range of product interactions. This instilled consistency across the 7 distinct griddle tools:
Spatula
Basting Tin
Rings
Scoop Tongs
Clip Light
Bottles
Tool Caddy

Meaningful connections
Moving components including an integrated home-base, a place to both mechanically align parts and visually indicate their state to users.
